How do I keep batteris in an Action Figure from corroding without opening it?
The Halo Series 1 Cortana contains batteries in the base. It isn't exactly in Mint Condition anymore if I open it to take them out, but if I leave them in they will corrode and ruin the figurine. I can't find a solution to this problem anywhere. Could I possibly seal it from oxygen using a sealed vacuum bag?
Your answer lies in your question.. well somewhat. Just put something like rubber or just seal the battery compartment with tape so that air doesn't pass... no reaction takes place.. no corrosion! yes.. make sure that the compartment is DRY before you do that and there is no water or leakage in the batteries
